AtlantaFresh came to be through the vision of food research and development chef Ron Marks. A native of rural Pennsylvania, Ron grew up around his parents’ general store, where he was surrounded early on by local dairy farmers and their incredibly fresh, delicious milk. In 2009, Ron decided he wanted to combine the concept of that wonderful, fresh dairy from his childhood with his passion for food and flavor experimentation. The result was extraordinary. Along with a small group of family and friends, Ron invested in some yogurt making equipment, sourced some grass-fed milk from local famers, and made his first batch of rich, delicious Greek yogurt. And so, AtlantaFresh was born – and with it, our dedication to produce the highest quality Greek yogurt using only farm-fresh milk from local, fully-pastured, grass-fed cows. No mass production, only small-batch, simple, good dairy products.
