Carrell Farms Group Buy this Weekend!

Good Morning! I knew I forgot something…. GROUP BUY THIS WEEKEND CARRELL FARMS
This weekend we’ll be taking orders for pastured water buffalo, and alpaca. They are currently out of lamb. Carrell Farm will deliver this upcoming Thursday. We order every other week so please keep this in mind when ordering. Meats are 100% grassfed and finished. They are produced without GMOs, chemicals, hormones, nor antibiotics of any kind.

Carrell Farms is a family owned, grass-based livestock operation featuring 100% grassfed, chemical-free, USDA processed Asian water buffalo. Seasonally they offer 100% grassfed lamb and other species. They are the first alpaca farm in the Southeastern US and offer alpaca shearing and farm consulting services.

Never had Water Buffalo? Water Buffalo tastes great! It has an honest red meat flavor with no gaminess. There is no need to marinade or over season Carrell Farm’s water buffalo as the flavor is grown right in. No need to drain – any excess fat is highly nutritious! Water Buffalo ground is excellent for burgers, chili, meat loaf, sloppy joes, spaghetti sauce, etc.! Omega 3 fats have a much lower melting point than Omega 6 fats. Expect grass fed meats to cook in 1/3 less time than contemporary grainfed meat.

Normal pick up in Suwanee this week

Hi Everyone,
Just a reminder that we will have our normal Thursday pick up this week but the next week we will move to Wednesday pick up So, pick up this Thursday 1/11 from 1pm to 3pm then starting January 17th we’ll have pick up 1pm to 6:30pm.

Read if you need Cedar Rock Milk 12/26 and/or 1/2

We are closed for the holidays for the next 2 weeks but Sam from Cedar Rock is offering a milk drop for those who need Raw Jersey Cow (A2) milk.

How to order: TEXT Sam at 770-490-5190
and give him your name and # half gallons you need. Also specify GLASS or PLASTIC. You can only request glass jar if you have them already at the farm. Let him know which day(s) you are ordering 12/26 and/or 1/2 for pick up

Where to pick up milk order: TUESDAY 12/26 and 1/2 at 1 to 1:30 PM in the parking lot at the Suwanee market pick up location – 1300 Peachtree Industrial Blvd, Suite 1104, Suwanee 30024 in front of Cultured Traditions
Sam has several drops that day so he will only be at the Suwanee drop off until 1:30. He will leave promptly at 1:30 to be on time for his next stop. He will not wait for you if you are not there before 1:30.

How to pay: You will pay Sam directly cash or check, preferably cash. Glass is $4.40 and Plastic is $5.50

Starting 1/17/18 - Changes to co-op PICK UP DAY/Extended hours! (PLEASE READ)

Hi everyone,
Hope you all are warm and enjoying the snow! All I can hear outside right now are sounds of childhood joy!!

Just wanted to take a moment to share with you some upcoming changes. Starting January 17th, pick up will be on Wednesdays instead of Tuesdays, and pick up hours will be extended to 6:30 pm! Pick up will be from 1 pm to 6:30 pm! Until then, pick up will continue on Thursdays and end at 3 pm.

I will be merging the Buford co-op with SWLC. I think this is positive for both co-ops and I’m very excited to offer extended pick up hours in the new year!

REMINDER – We will not have pick up 12/28 or 1/4
